Template #107: Fillet Properties

  • The #107 Fillet template puts in a reserved visual representation for the fillet, displayed as a dotted line.

  • A Fillet needs a minimum of two layers; a top reverse bevel layer and the Fillet layer.

  • NOTE: Template #107 Fillet is a part of the #106 Mixed Template.

  • You can either select #106 Mixed Opening and select #107 Fillet for the 2nd or greater layer, OR select #107 Fillet as an opening which will automatically place it within the #106 Mixed.

  • NOTE: Only rectangular Fillets are supported.

  • This example shows the Mixed template using template #107 Fillet on the second layer.

  • The Fillet line is displayed the distance of the Reveal from the next layer.

#107 Fillet Template Properties

  • Place the #107 Fillet Template onto the Editor.

  • Click on the #107 Fillet Template on the Editor.

  • Click on the Properties Tab to edit the individual proprietary adjustments available for this template opening.

  • Optionally, Right-Click on the template opening and select Properties to open the Template Properties.

Template Opening

Template Name and Number

  • Change the Template with the Template Name and Number Button.

  • Click Template Name and Number button.

  • The Template Library opens.

  • Select a different template from the Template Library.

  • The template will be updated to the new template.

Label

  • Enter a Label for the template.

  • Enter the desired text in the Label field.

  • The label will be displayed on the Template opening.

Dimensions

  • Enter the Template Width dimension. 

  • Enter the Template Height dimension.

Edit the Template Size in the Dimension Fields

Lock or Unlock Size

  • Lock the size of the object to avoid adjusting it by mistake when dragging the mouse.

  • Click Unlock to Lock the size of the current object. 

  • Click Locked to Unlock the size of the current object.

X and Y Position Fields

  • Use the X/Y fields to move objects to specific Horizontal/Vertical coordinates.

    • *Lines shown for illustration.

  • Enter the new X position to move the selected object Horizontally.

  • Enter the new Y to move the selected object Vertically.

Rotation Entry Field

  • Enter the desired Degree of Rotation in the Rotation field.

  • The currently selected Template will pivot from the center point.

Template Options Reveal Tab

Number of Layers

  • Enter the Number of Layers desired.

Layers (Listing) 

  • Each layer entry is identified by a Layer Number.

  • The Topmost layer is labelled Top.

 

Layer Definition

Reveal

  • Enter the desired Reveal Amount for each layer in the Reveal field. 

  • The reveal is the distance from the next opening to the Fillet.

  • The topmost layer is labelled Top.

Edit the Reveals

Reverse Bevel

  • Click the RB Button to make all of the layers a Reverse Bevel

  • Click the RB Checkbox on the desired layer to make only that layer a Reverse Bevel.
