Threshold: Vectorize: Trace

  • The Threshold sets the degree of detail captured from the image.  

  • Move the Threshold slider to the Left to Decrease the Threshold Tolerance on the image, and reduce the amount of detail captured in the design.

  • Move the Threshold slider to the Right to Increase the Threshold Tolerance on the image, and allow a greater amount of detail to be captured in the design.

Using the Threshold Setting

  • Load the image.

Load an Image

  • Move the Threshold slider to the left to reduce the detail captured in the design. 

  • Click the Vectorize button.

Set Threshold

  • Less detail has been picked up by the software.

Less Details Have Been Picked Up

  • Move the Threshold slider to the right to allow more detail to be captured in the design. 

  • Click the Vectorize button.

  • More detail has been picked up by the software.
