Save Design: Trace

  • With the desired project on the screen, click File > Save to save the design.

  • It will initially default to a CutArt file but if the file type is changed, it will use that file type until another is selected.

  • Give the design a filename.

  • Select the desired file type from the File Type dropdown control.

  • Select the desired directory to save the file or click Choose Other Location to locate a different directory.

  • Click Save to save the CutArt.

  • The CutArt is saved.

  • With the desired project on the screen, click File > Save As to save the design.

Path

  • It is recommended that you save your file as a Path (.wpx) while working on it.

  • Path files do not need to be traced, and thus have no cutting capabilities.

  • You will have to save it as a CutArt when you have completed the design.
