Rail Dodge: FrameShop Definition
Rail Dodge | |
---|---|
A Rail Dodge overcomes the border limitation of 1.5"/3.8 cm when not cutting the outside. A Rail Dodge is used to manually position the mat at least 1.5"/3.8 cm up and over to avoid cutting the outside when cutting borders less than 1.5"/3.8 cm. Use an L-shaped piece of matboard as a fixture to hold design out from rails, thus avoiding having to cut the outside of the mat. This is handy when cutting mats out of pre-cut matboard with small borders. Enter the amount the mat has been moved into the Rail Dodge field. |
