To Rotate the Starburst in the Design Editor: | |
---|---|
Save the CutArt. You will get a message stating that this design contains objects that do not have an assigned bevel type. This refers to the alignment lines and arcs that we didn't trace. Click Yes that you wish to continue. The CutArt is saved. |
Rotate the CutArt | |
---|---|
Load the CutArt into the Design editor. Click on the Properties tab. | |
Enter 30* in the Rotation field. The CutArt is rotated 30°. Note that doing this does not alter the original CutArt, only the copy that is currently loaded into the editor. To rotate the actual CutArt, see Trace Lesson Eleven: Rotate Starburst within Trace. *See Determining the Degree of Rotation for information on how to determine the optimum degree of rotation for your particular CutArt. | |
The starburst design is completed. Since it is a Deboss design, you can also size it much smaller if desired without worrying about overcuts and backups. |
ComparisonYou can see how much we changed the design when you compare it to what we started with. You can alter the design greatly by changing the number of sides of the template, selecting a different template, changing the CutArt placed, and even the number of degrees of rotation when you place it on the Editor. | |
