The Air Valve Assembly is located at the top of the Gantry under the Gantry Cover.
The Air Valve Assembly and the ECU/Driver Pack signals control:
Clamps Activation
Head Lift
Blade Cartridge Plunge
There are test buttons on the Air Valve Assembly to evaluate each of these functions when troubleshooting the Air Valve Assembly.

If the Clamps are not Activatingengaging:
Check the Air Compressor and make sure it is on.
Check the air lines to make sure they are not kinked.
For the Z Series, see if the Mat Clamp Pressure Knob on the Control Panel is set to the low setting.
For the Z Series, make sure the Clamp Pressure Adjustment on the Control Panel isn’t set too low.
Turn off the ECU/Driver Pack close the software. Turn on the ECU/Driver Pack restart the software.
Check the Air Clamp Actuator Valve in the Air Valve Assembly located in the Gantry; the .
The Air Valve Assembly may need to be replaced.
If the VPO Head is not Lifting/Lowering to the material:
Make sure the VPO is not set too low.
Check the Actuator Valve in the Air Valve Assembly located in the Gantry; the Air Valve Assembly may need to be replaced.
If the Non-VPO Head is not Lowering/Lifting up from the material:
