The Vertical Belt runs up and down vertically on the inside of the Gantry and controls the up and down movement of the Head.

Tip

Connections:

The Gantry is a spanning framework which attaches to the top and bottom of the Boardand moves horizontally across it along the Drive Belt.
The Head is attached to the Gantry and moves vertically along the Vertical Belt.
