Drive Belt Position Alignment: All Current CMC Models

If the red lines on the Drive Belt do not line up to the red lines on the toothed pulley on the Gantry, it shows that the Drive Belt has skipped a tooth and that the cuts will be out of square.

Remove the Gantry covers by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place and set aside.

Move the Gantry to the right and back to the far left.

Looking at the upper Drive Belt, slowly move the Gantry toward the right again until you see a red line on the Drive Belt.

Confirm that the red line lines up with the red line on the Drive Pulley.

Without moving the Gantry, look at the lower Drive Belt and make sure the red lines line up on the Drive Belt and the Drive Pulley.

Determine which one does not line up; we will adjust the Drive Belt of the one that does not line up.
