Change the 45 Degree Front Blade: CMC Z Series

The 45° Front blade cartridge is labeled 45° on the end and is orange.

Push the blade cartridge release lever down to eject the current blade cartridge.

Remove the blade from blade cartridge, careful of the sharp edge.

The blade cartridge displays a diagram of the blade orientation (shown in contrast).

Place the new blade into the cartridge with the longest straight side to the right and the bevel face down lining up the holes of the blade over the pins in the cartridge. 

The blade should fit snugly into the recess space provided for it.

NOTE: If there is side-to-side movement of the blade in the blade cartridge, or if chunks have been cut out of the cartridge, then it is time to replace the blade cartridge.
