Editor Tutorial Lesson 11: Fanning Objects: MatDesigner

Design a new mat with five 2x3 (5x7 cm) #101 rectangles spaced evenly along the bottom of a 20x16 (50x40 cm).

Select the openings.

Click the advanced tab.

Enter 3 for the horizontal fan distance.

Fan distance is the height of the arc measured from the bottom of the center opening.

Entering a higher number would fan it more.

Select the openings.

Click advanced tab.

Enter 3 for the vertical fan distance.

Fan distance is the width of the arc measured from the side of the center opening.

Entering a higher number would fan it more.
