Design a mat with two 4x5 (10x13 cm) #101 rectangles in a 16x20 (40x50 cm). Click on the left opening and click advanced tab. | |
Use the slidebar to rotate the opening, or enter 45 for the number of degrees of rotation. | |
Selected opening is rotated 45 degrees. |
Rotate a Group of Objects | |

Select both openings. | |
Use the slidebar to rotate both openings, or enter 45 for the number of degrees of rotation. Each opening rotates 45 degrees individually. |

Keep the openings selected. | |
Click Group Selection under Other Options. | |
The two openings are locked together as a single object (selection handles displayed exaggerated). | |
Enter 30 for the degrees of rotation. | |
The grouped openings rotate as a single object. Use the slidebar to further rotate the object, and see how this is different from simply selecting the individual openings and rotating them. |
