Deboss Distance

Deboss Distance

  • Attaching a Deboss to an Opening or the Outside allows the Deboss to automatically resize if the attached object is resized.

    • The Deboss will remain the same distance from the Opening/Outside as entered in the Distance field.

  • If the Deboss is Not Attached to anything, the Distance field is grayed out. 

  • NOTE: Offsetting the Deboss from an object when initially placing the Deboss does not automatically attach the Deboss to that object.

  • Click the Attach To dropdown control and select the Mat or the specific Opening to attach the Deboss.

  • Enter the Distance to place the Deboss from the object it is Attached To in the Distance field.

  • The Deboss will resize around the object by the Distance entered.

  • Default Settings: See Admin > Editor for the default settings for the default Deboss/Pen/V-Groove/Crease Distance under V-Groove Distance.

The Attach To function in Designer will connect the selected Element (V-Groove, Deboss, Pen, Vinyl or Crease) to the Mat or a specific Opening at the Distance specified.

If the Mat/Opening is moved/resized, the Element (V-Groove, Deboss, Pen, Vinyl or Crease) will automatically move and resize in relationship to the Mat/Opening at the distance specified.

Select the Object to Attach the Deboss to from the Attach To Dropdown Control
