Tiling: How to Tile a Design

  • These instructions will walk you through Tiling a design to cut multiple copies of it.

  • Click New Mat Design on the FrameShop Main Page.

  • The New Openings Screen will open.

  • Enter the desired Dimensions for the design.

  • Click the Send to CMC button.

    • Optionally, click Cancel and create the design on the Editor.

  • Make sure the Sheet Size is the correct size for what you are cutting and adjust if necessary.

Enter the Sheet Size Being Used

  • Enter the number of desired mats to cut in the # of Mats field.

  • The mat will be copied across the Sheet size indicated.

  • If you enter a total of Mats larger than the current Sheet can cut, the remainder of the Designs will be rolled into the next Sheet.

  • The number of Sheets will be displayed in the Total Sheets field.

The Number of Sheets Will Display if the Number of Tiled Mats are Too Many for the Current Sheet Size

  • If your CMC supports it, select Shared Edge for the Cut Mode.

  • In this Mode, it will only make a single cut between the designs along their Shared Edges.

  • Cut the designs.
