CutArt: Making Drops Cut on Another Layer

CutArt™ are simple shapes and design elements created by Wizard that can be added to designs.

CutArts can be applied to your current design and edited, such as resizing and rotating.

They can be Cut, Debossed, Penned or cut on Vinyl.

NOTE: Make sure that the CutArt you want to use contains Drops, otherwise, nothing will happen.

The CutArt can be Penned and Debossed much smaller than it can be cut.

Click New Mat Design on the FrameShop Main Page.

Click Cancel on the New Openings Screen.

Click the Add CutArt Button on the Openings tab.

Select the desired CutArt from the Browse screen.

Click Design to bring it to the Design Editor.

The CutArt is placed on the Editor.

Click on Properties to edit the CutArt Properties.

Enter the desired size for the CutArt and any other adjustments you wish to make.

Select the desired Cartridge Type under the Use Original Cut Types dropdown control.

Under Type select Two Layers.

This makes the CutArt two layers, where the drops will cut on a lower layer rather than cutting as Drops which will have to be reattached to the mat.

Finish the design as desired.
