FrameShop Backup Utility
FrameShop Backup Database Utility | |

The FrameShop Backup/Restore Utility will allow you to backup your database as a safeguard against hardware failure. This backup will include the designs, CutArt and other information that has been saved in the database. This utility will also allow you to restore the database from a previous backup. It is recommended that you backup your database on a regular basis. | |
Backing up the database must be done on your Server computer. From the FrameShop Main Screen, click Admin. Selection the Connection tab on the left. The Backup section is displayed on the right. | |
Click the Backup Database button. | |
Select the desired directory to save your backup file. Enter the desired filename. Note that the utility will not let you save the backup in the Documents directory, so it is recommended that you backup to a removable media like a flash drive or create your own directory on the hard drive. Click Save. The utility will create the backup file. | |
When it has finished, it will display a confirmation on the screen. Click OK. |
FrameShop Restore Database Utility | |

Click the Restore Database button. | |
Select the directory where your backup is saved and select the backup file. Click OK. | |
A warning that restoring an old backup will overwrite all current data in your database will display. Click OK to continue. The backup will be restored to the current database. |
