The following specify the configuration of the computers Wizard ships with new orders and constitute a set of recommendations for operation of this software. Note that computer graphics especially benefit greatly from additional memory. Some of Wizard’s larger, corporate customers that operate systems in a Microsoft Windows network domain environment require the commercial version of the Microsoft Windows operating system; Windows Professional.

  • Microsoft Windows 7 or 10.

  • Memory – 3GB Minimum, 4GB Preferred

  • Disk Space required – 50GB

  • Dual Monitor usage requires a graphics card with at least two monitor outputs.

  • Certain Visualization functions require a USB controllable camera. See supported cameras for more information.

  • Internet Access – Required for rentals and content synchronization

Installation time is normally 10-30 minutes. We recommend that you install Frameshop on a weekday in case you need assistance. Wizard technical support is available 8am-4:30pm PST Monday-Friday (888) 855-3335 or (425) 551-4300.

Product keys can be used only once. Make sure that the correct product keys are installed onto the correct computer. For instance, the CMC product key must be installed on the CMC computer or the software will run in demo mode with the cutting function disabled.

A Note on Networking

A Note on Networking

You will install the FrameShopTM Server and one FrameShop Client on a single computer, or they can be installed on separate computers if desired. If the software is installed on two separate computers, then these computers must be connected using an Ethernet local area network. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide this networking.

When installing/updating the software, it is best to install/update the Server computer first.

Navigate to the directory where you downloaded the FrameShop install. Unzip the folder. Double click on Start (or Start.exe).

If a User Account Control screen opens prompting the user to allow the following program, select Yes.

The installer will open to the Main Screen.

On the Installation Main Screen click Install FrameShop. The software will check for existing servers.

After it has checked for a previous server installation, click Continue on the Server Setup screen.

Click Start on the Installation screen.

Click Next on the Server Setup screen.

Read the FrameShop Server End User License Agreement, click the I accept Checkbox and click Next.

Click Continue on the Configure Database Settings screen.

Click Install on the Ready to Install screen. The software will begin to install.

When the install has finished, click Finish on the Server Completed screen.

After the FrameShop Server has been installed, it will install the FrameShop Client.

Click Next on the Welcome to the FrameShop Install screen.

The Database Setup screen displays the current settings. The Server Name displays the computer name where the FrameShop Server is installed. Click Next.

Click Install on the Ready to Install screen. The software will begin to install.

After the FrameShop Client has installed, click Finish on the Install Complete screen.

Click Install CMC Driver on the Installation Complete screen if the workstation is connected to a Wizard CMC (instructions follow). Otherwise, click Quit.

The drivers for the ECU must be installed on the Computerized Mat Cutter (CMC) computer. The drivers will install two parts. The first part installs the drivers for the ECU, and the second part installs the firmware for the ECU. If both parts are not installed, the ECU may not function properly.

Go to the Installation Main Screen.

Turn off the ECU.

Unplug the USB Cable from the ECU. It is necessary to turn off and unplug the ECU otherwise the ECU memory will not clear and the drivers installation will NOT take full effect.

Click on Install CMC Driver.

Select either Install ECU or Install Driverpak, depending upon the type of box your CMC uses.

If you get a security warning, click Run.

If you select to install the Driverpak, click Install and follow the instructions on the screen.

If you select to install the ECU, click Next on the Drivers Welcome Screen.

On the Congratulations Screen, Click Finish. It displays that the first part of the driver is installed.

It will then start the second installation. On the Drivers Welcome Screen, Click Next.

On the Congratulations Screen, Click Finish. It displays that the second part of the driver is installed.

Plug in the USB Cable to the ECU.

Turn on the ECU.

On the completion screen, click the Release button to read the Release Notes if desired. Click Quit to close the installation screen. The software is installed and will automatically start.

If the software has not been previously licensed, the software will open in Demo mode.

Click Install Product Key.

Enter the Customer ID and the FrameShop Server or FrameShop Client product key, depending upon which computer this is, then click Continue.

The License Activation screen opens. Select Automatic. It will connect over the internet or attempt to dial into our server. Click Next.

The Install Key screen displays the products selected to be Activated. Click Activate.

The screen now displays the products that have been Activated. Click Done.

The FrameShop software will open up to the main screen.
