Add New Tape Measure: FrameShop Design Editor

Add New Tape Measure Button

Use the Add New Tape Measure button to add a Tape Measure that can be used to measure distances between objects, edge of the mat, guides, or borders.

Click the Add New Tape Measure button.

A Tape Measure is added to the Editor. 

Snapping the Points of the Measuring Tape

Snapping the Points of the Measuring Tape

Click and drag either of the Measuring Tape's control points to the desired object, where it will snap to the object's control points (midpoint or corners). 

The Measuring Tape control point will turn red to indicate that it is snapped. 

Click and drag the other Measuring Tape control point and snap it to another object.  

The measurements between each of the triangular points are displayed along the edges of the Measuring Tape and on the Measuring Tape's Property screen. 

The Measuring Tape will remain snapped to the object even if you move or resize the object.

To unsnap the Measuring Tape, click and drag on one of the lines of the Measuring Tape (not on one of the control points).

Move it to the desired position.
