Tiling on Setup Tab: FrameShop Cut Preview Screen

Tiling

Tiling

Use the Tiling section of the Setup Tab to tile the current mat.

Number of Mats

Number of Mats

Enter the desired number of mats to be tiled onto the matboard in the Number of Mats field.

The design will be copied across the mat.

Sheet Size

Sheet Size

Enter the Sheet Size of matboard (e.g. 40 x 32) to be used for the tiled design.

This size designates the number of rows and columns that can be used in the layout.

Spacing

Spacing

Enter the amount of spacing between each mat to be cut in the Spacing field.

The spacing entered will be placed between each mat.

Entering Zero (0) will only only cut the shared edge between the mats rather than cutting the outside of each mat.

Any number above Zero (0) will cut out the outside of each mat separately.

Set the Default for Tiling

Set the Default for Tiling

The default settings for Tiling can be set in the Admin > Cutting section.

Total Sheets

Total Sheets

Enter the number of desired mats to tile.

If the number of mats being tiled exceeds the current board size, FrameShop will calculate how many sheets of matboard are required, and will round-up the number of mats in order to fill up the last sheet.

As each sheet is cut, FrameShop will display the current sheet number being cut.

Optionally, change the Total Sheets number to manually select how many sheets of the currently tiled design to cut.
