Using the #111: Quad Template to Make Four Corner Samples at Once

  • Optionally, you could use the #111: Quad template to make four Corner Samples at once.

  • Set the outside size as indicated above and place the #111: Quad template on the editor and set the size.

  • Click on the Quad tab and select the desired templates.

    • Note: Not all templates are available for use with the Quad template. You’ll have to follow the steps in Corner Sample Basic Creation to make Corner Samples for those particular templates.

Set Up a Quad Template
  • Follow the steps above to bring the design into Trace and break it up into four quadrants.

  • Instead of erasing the sections of the design, we will be moving them to space them apart from another.

  • Change the Design Bounds to make space for these new openings.

Make Room for the Corner Samples
  • Now select the elements that make up the first Corner Sample, including the vertical/horizontal line that divides it from the next Corner Sample.

  • Hit Ctrl+C to copy this selection.

  • Move your cursor up to an empty position on the screen and hit Ctrl+V to paste it.
