Horizontal Tension Adjustment Definition

  • The tension of the Drive Belt can be adjusted with the Horizontal Tension Adjustment screws on the right side of the rail.

  • It is important that the Red Lines on the Drive Belt line up to the Red Lines on the Toothed Pulley on the Gantry, otherwise the Gantry would be crooked.

Tip

Connections:

  • The Drive Belt lays Horizontally at the top and the bottom of the Board and runs through the Gantry and is anchored by the Belt Anchors on the left side of the rail.

  • The tension of the Drive Belt can be adjusted with the Horizontal Tension Adjustment screws on the right side of the upper and lower rail.

  • The Gantry is a spanning framework which attaches to the top and bottom of the Boardand moves horizontally across it along the Drive Belt.

Warning

Troubleshooting:

  • If the cuts are crooked, check to make sure the Red Lines on the Drive Belt line up to the Red Lines on the Toothed Pulley on the Gantry.

  • The Drive Belt is becoming frayed.
