    A Guide is a Red line marker which can direct the motion or positioning of objects.

    The sides and centers of Objectscan snap to the Guide Lines.

    Click on the Ruler around the design and drag toward the center to place a Guide.

    Select the Guide and click Properties to edit the position or drag it where desired.

    Borders Active

    Dynamic Outsides: Toggle Default Setting

    • Select Dynamic Outsides to add the Border Size to the Bounding Rectangle of the current group of openings, adjusting the outside size as needed.

    • A second opening dragged to the edge of the mat readjusts the outside size by adding the borders around the current openings.

    • Toggle to Dynamic Outsides On to change the outside dimension dynamically when openings are moved.

    • Toggle to Dynamic Outsides Off to keep the outside dimension a fixed dimension.

    The Dynamic Outsides feature adds the Border Size to the Bounding Rectangle of the current Group of Openings, adjusting the Outside Size as necessary in the Design Editor and Visualize.

    Enforce Minimum Sizes

    • Select whether to Enforce Minimum Sizes for CutArt and LetterMat if cutting below the Minimum Size.

    • Users may experience unsatisfactory results when cutting below the Minimum Size.

    • Designs can be Debossed/Penned smaller than they can be cut.

    • The Minimum Size warning is displayed when going to the Cut Preview:

      • Yes - Continue cutting without any changes

      • No - Resize content to minimums and continue cutting

      • Cancel - Abort cutting this design

    • Select Enforce Minimum Sizes to prompt a warning when cutting below the Minimum Size.

    • Unselect Enforce Minimum Sizes to not prompt a warning when cutting below the Minimum Size.

    titleOutside Bevel Definition

    The Outside Bevel is created by cutting into the fallout surface with the blade angled at 45°/52°, thereby slanting the bevel under the fallout surface. The matboard core is not visible from the front.

    The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.

    Select Outside or Outside-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit this configuration.
