The Deboss Thin White cartridge stylus presses onto the surface of the matboard to create a subtle design with a Thin line.

There are three Deboss stylus sizes: Wide, Medium, Thin.

In addition to Template Shapes, you can also Deboss CutArts, LetterMats and TTFs.

• If the Deboss line is applied Too Far Left Horizontally, Increase the Horizontal Adjustment.

• If the Deboss line is applied Too Far Right Horizontally, Decrease the Horizontal Adjustment.

The Horizontal Adjustment defines the global Horizontalplacement of objects applied with the Deboss Cartridges.

If the Deboss line is applied Too Far Left Horizontally, Increase the Horizontal Adjustment.

If the Deboss line is applied Too Far Right Horizontally, Decrease the Horizontal Adjustment.

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

• If the Deboss line is applied Too Far Up Vertically, Decreasethe Vertical Adjustment.

• If the Deboss line is applied Too Far Down Vertically, Increase the Vertical Adjustment.

The Vertical Adjustment defines the global Vertical placement of objects applied with the Deboss Cartridges.

If the Deboss line is applied Too Far Up Vertically, Decreasethe Vertical Adjustment.

If the Deboss line is applied Too Far Down Vertically, Increase the Vertical Adjustment.

• If the Deboss is Too Large, Decrease the Opening Adjustment.

• If the Deboss is Too Small, Increase the Opening Adjustment.

The Opening Adjustment controls the size of the Opening cut or Object applied with non-blade cartridges.

If the Deboss is Too Large, Decrease the Opening Adjustment.

If the Deboss is Too Small, Increase the Opening Adjustment.

• If the Non-Blade Tool is too Deep, Decrease the Depth Setting.

• If the Non-Blade Tool is too Shallow, Increase the Depth Setting.

The Depth Setting controls the Blade Depth for theNon-Blade Tools in the Configurations.

• The Non-Blade Tool Tears the Corners, Increase the Corner Pause. 

• The Non-Blade Tool is pausing too long in the Corners, Decrease the Corner Pause. 

The Corner Pause setting in Configurations is the amount of time, in milliseconds, to pause the application of the Non-Blade Tools between segments.

• If the Overshoot of the Non-Blade Tool is applied Too Long, Decrease the Overshoot.

The Overshoot controls how far past the end of the Line/Arc Segment to apply the Non-Blade Tool(Deboss, Pen or Vinyl).

If the Overshoot of the Non-Blade Tool is applied Too Long, Decrease the Overshoot.

If the Overshoot of the Non-Blade Tool is applied Too Short, Increase the Overshoot.

This is similar to the Overcut used with the Blade cartridges.

• The Non-Blade Tool leaves a Dot where it plunges, select Unplunge.

• The Non-Blade Tool takes Too Long to apply, select Plunge.

The Plunge function controls whether to Plunge/Unplunge between the Line/Arc Segments of an object when applying a Non-Blade Tool.

The Non-Blade Tool leaves a Dot where it plunges, select Unplunge.

The Non-Blade Tool takes Too Long to apply, select Plunge.

This is different from the Plunge Count which controls the number of Blade Plunges for each Blade Cartridge before pausing for a Blade Change.

• Use the Troubleshooting utility to make quick edits to the Configurations for a single object on the Cutting Preview. 

The Troubleshooting Utility allows you to bring in a single opening and automatically selects the correct Cartridge tab and Bevel Type to configure.
