Select the Configurations Cartridge Type to Edit

  • Select the desired Cartridge Type Tab to edit the configurations for that Cartridge.

  • Examples of the Cartridges are listed below.

45 Degree Cartridge

  • The 45° Cartridge cuts the Bevel Angle on the matboard at 45°.

  • This Bevel Angle is displayed on the Front or the Back of the mat depending upon the selected Bevel Type.

  • The 45° Blade Cartridge does not support Blade Depths above 16.

45 Degree+ Cartridge

  • The 45°+ Cartridge cuts the Bevel Angle on the thicker matboard at 45°.

    • The 45°+ Blade Cartridge supports Blade Depths above 16.

  • This Bevel Angle is displayed on the Front or the Back of the mat depending upon the selected Bevel Type.

  • The 45°+ Blade Cartridge is not selected within the Editor; it is set by using a Blade Depth above 16 on the Cut Preview.

45 Degree Front Cartridge

  • The 45° Front Cartridge cuts the Bevel Angle on the matboard from the Front at 45°.

  • This Bevel Angle is displayed on the Front or the Back of the mat depending upon the selected Bevel Type.

  • The 45° Front Blade Cartridge is not selected within the Editor; it is set by setting Cut From Front on the Cut Preview.

52 Degree Cartridge

  • The 52° Cartridge cuts the Bevel Angle on the matboard at 52°.

  • This Bevel Angle is displayed on the Front or the Back of the mat depending upon the selected Bevel Type.

90 Degree Cartridge

  • The 90° Cartridge cuts a 90° Right Angle into the matboard.

  • The matboard core is hidden from view since there is no Bevel when cutting at a 90° Right Angle.

Crease Cartridge

  • The Crease Cartridge is used to apply Crease marks that are used to assist in folding the thicker finished Box.

  • The Crease Cartridge is labeled in the software with a Perforation Symbol.

Deboss Cartridges

  • The Deboss Cartridge stylus presses onto the surface of the matboard to create a subtle design.

  • There are three Deboss Cartridge sizes with a Deboss Symbol on the Cartridge end: Thin, Medium, Wide.

Pen Cartridge

  • The Pen Cartridge holds a pen to the matboard to draw onto the matboard. 

  • The Pen Cartridge is used to draw onto the surface of the matboard on the CMC to create a design.

  • The Pen is labeled in the software with a Pen Tip Icon.

Vinyl Cartridge

  • The Vinyl Cartridge cuts designs into a sheet of Vinyl which has been temporarily adhered to the matboard. 

  • The Vinyl Cartridge uses a special blade to cut the Vinyl which has been temporarily adhered to the matboard to create the design.

  • The Vinyl is labeled in the software with a thin Vinyl Blade Icon.
