The Break tool is used to bisect the selected segments at the point where they Intersect in Trace.
In comparison, the Break All Intersections function bisects all segments in the design where they intersect in Trace.
Hold down the CTRL key and click on each of the overlapping objects.
Click the Break button.
The objects will break where they intersected.
Each new segment can now be edited separately, such as deleting the unwanted section and connecting the remaining segments with the Join button.
The Join button will connect the selected segments together as one object in Trace.
