Use the Cut the Outside toggle to select cutting or not cutting the outside of the mat on the non-CMC 9000z. For the outside cut options for the 9000z, see Outside Cut Options. |

The default setting for 90 Degree Outside can be set in the Admin > Cutting section. Note that the CMC 8000 cannot support cutting with the 90 Degree Outside. |
Rail Dodge | |

If your borders are less than 1.5" and you are not not cutting the outside on your CMC 9000 or 8000, you will need to either select to Cut the Outside, or use a Rail Dodge. You can also use the Rail Dodge to avoid flaws in the matboard. See the Location tab for more information. Note: The outside cut is shown here merely for reference. |

Enable Auto Clamp OffsetSelect Enable Auto Clamp Offset checkbox to move the design up and over on the matboard to avoid the clamp area on the CMC Z1 and 9000z, similar to the Rail Dodge below. | |

Check the Enable Auto Clamp Offset checkbox. Enter the distance to move the design in the X Origin field; the Y Origin field uses the same number value. The whole design will move up and over the distance entered. This feature is also turned on by selecting Full from the Outside Cut Options dropdown control. |
