The Curve tool will draw a four-point bezier curve.

Drawing a Curve

Click the Curve button.

Click to place each of the four points: start, two middle points, and end point.

  • Left-click sets the point under the cursor.

  • Right-click snaps to the nearest point.

Continuous Drawing

If Continuous Drawing has been selected under Options, the curves will keep drawing until you select another tool or hit the Esc key.

Auto Align Circuits

If Auto Align Circuits has been selected under Options, you will see blue highlights in the form of lines and circles when the cursor is aligned with another control point, end point or center point of another object on the design as you are drawing.

This can aid when drawing with the current tool if you need it to be aligned with other objects in the design.

If is too distracting while working on the current design, this can toggled off under Options.
