Using the Borders

  • Borders Toggle allows object edges and center points of objects to snap to the Border lines. 

  • Click and drag the desired objects to the Borders. 

  • The object edges and centers will snap to the Green Border Lines which makes alignment easy.

  • Default Settings:

  • See Admin > Editor for the default settings for the default layer to apply the Borders.

  • See Admin > Defaults for the default settings for the Layer Direction.

 Border Definition

The Border is the area of precisely definable width between the outside edge of a Mat and the edge of the Opening(s) in the Design Editor, Nesting, and Visualization.
