Circle/Oval Rotation Utility

  • The Circle/Oval Rotation Utility is a more detailed calibration feature than adjusting the Oval Rotation field alone because it allows for adjustments for different sizes of ovals.

 Feather Oval Rotation General Definition

A Feather in an Oval Opening is a Fringe of material left behind where the cut started and ended on the Oval.

If the Oval Opening has a Feather, Decrease the Oval Rotation.

The Oval Rotation controls for Bumps or Feathers on an Oval.

Positioning Controls

  • If desired, use the Positioning Control Arrows to move the design one-mat-width with each click.

  • This allows the user to cut several of the test mats from a full sheet of matboard as you calibrate the circles.

  • It shows the full sheet of matboard with a representation of the last mat cut displayed.

  • When you have finished calibrating your circles, click OK to return to the Configurations Screen when done.
