Change to the Vinyl Tool Cartridge

  • The Vinyl cartridge is black and is labeled in the software with a Vinyl icon.

  • Make sure the Head and foot block are already in the Aligned position.

  • Click the Align the Head button if necessary.           

  • Push blade cartridge release down to eject the current blade cartridge.

  • Turn Vinyl cartridge over and reinsert into the head with the notch on the back of the cartridge facing the head, until it clicks into place. It can only be inserted one way.

  • The Blade Depth Knob on the Head fine-tunes the blade depth. 

  • Start with a Blade Depth of 7-10 and do a test cut to find the optimum blade depth for this Vinyl material. See Cutting with the Vinyl Cartridge.
