Hold down the CTRL key and select at least two adjoining segments; they will turn white. Click the Join button. They will be connected together. |  |
Optionally, hold down the CTRL key and click on all of the desired segments in their sequence order. Click the Join button. |  |
The segments will be connected together. |  |
Click the Close button to close the last remaining open segment. |  |
The object is now an enclosed entity that can be traced and cut as an opening. |  |
