User Configurations: FrameShop Configurations Screen

The User Configs is where the user can adjust the individual configuration settings for the Cartridge Tab selected. 

Cartridge Type Examples 

Select this topic to see information and examples of the different Cartridges that are available.

Bevel Type Examples 

Select this topic to see information and examples of the different Bevel Types available.

Current Bevel Type 

Select this topic to see information about the different bevel types available from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control.

Backups and Overcuts 

Select this topic to see information about the Backups and Overcuts which adjust specifically where the blade plunges in and retracts from the matboard when cutting objects.

V-Groove Backup and Overcuts

Select this topic to see information about the V-Groove Backup and Overcuts which adjust specifically where the blade plunges in and retracts from the matboard when cutting a V-Groove.

Opening Adjustment 

Select this topic to see information about the Opening Adjustment which adjusts the size of the object.

Rotation 

Select this topic to see information about Rotation which corrects for Swoops and Flares in non-oval objects.

Oval Rotation 

Select this topic to see information about the Oval Rotation which corrects for Feathers and Bumps in oval objects.

Width Adjustment (V-Groove)

Outside Rotation (V-Groove)

Inside Rotation (V-Groove)

Corner Pause (ms) (Tool Specific)

Overshoot (Tool Specific) 

Select this topic to see information on adjusting how much to Overshoot past the end of the segment for the Deboss, Pen or Vinyl tools. This is similar to an Overcut.

Plunge (Tool Specific) 

Select this topic to see information on adjusting whether to Plunge or UnPlunge between segments of an object when doing a Deboss, Pen or Vinyl object.

Install Pen  

Select this topic to see information on the Install Pen utility used to calibrate the system for different pens.

Configuration Map

Quick Calibration 

Select this topic to see information on the Quick Calibration which walks through making sure the opening is the right size, cut in the right place, then shows how to adjust the backups and overcuts and correct for flares and swoops.

Bevel Type Cutting Direction
