Cartridges Involved

This Configuration element involves the following Cartridges.

Note: Not all cartridges are available for all CMC models.

Editing the Configurations

Use the Configurations Screen to make adjustments to either how the CMC cuts or how it applies the non-bladed cartridges.

Below is a list of support documentation for the Configurations Screen of the FrameShop software. Select which approach you want to take in identifying the cutting issue and resolving it by editing the Configurations.

Select the Configurations Cartridge Type to Edit

Select this topic for information on the Cartridge Type Tabs.

 Cartridge Definition

A Cartridge is the physical component that holds a Blade, Deboss Stylus, Pen or other application tool.

Bevel Type

Select this topic for information on the Bevel Types available from the Bevel Type dropdown control.

 Bevel Type Definition

The Bevel Type is the Angle that the blade cuts on the Matboard/Fallout surface when it is not cut at a 90° Right Angle.

 Calibration Definition

Calibration is the process of using the Configurations screen to make adjustments to the CMC to ensure that it is cutting the Right Size, in the Correct Position, the Corners are Precise, and there are no Swoops, Flares, Bumps or Feathers.

 Troubleshooting Definition

The Troubleshooting Utility allows you to bring in a single opening and automatically selects the correct Cartridge tab and Bevel Type to configure.

Select this topic to see information about the Quick Calibration which walks through making sure the opening is the right size, cut in the right place, as well as adjust the backups and overcuts and correct for swoops and flares.
