Align the Head on the CMC Z (9000z)

  • Click the Align the Head button to Align the Head into the cutting position and power up the motors in preparation of cutting a mat.

  • Optionally, if you click the Cut button when the motors are disengaged, it will prompt you to Align the Head.

  • After the Head is Aligned, itwill then Cut the mat.

When Motors are Disengaged

  • If any of the Clamps are in the way, the Cut Preview highlights in

red
  • Red any clamps that are in the way of the current cut sequence

. These are the ones that will
  • and need to be rotated out of the way before you cut the mat.

Use the Disengage button to cut the power to the motors of the cutting head.

Click the Disengage button to disengage power to the motors of the cutting Head on the CMC. 

User will be prompted to Click OK to release the motors.

Grasp the Head and then Click OK

The motors will be disengaged and the Head will drop. When the motors are disengaged, the Head and the Gantry can be moved freely by hand.

The head will need to be Aligned again before the next mat is cut.
