Select the desired object(s). Click Edit > Send to back to send the currently selected object(s) to the back of the other objects, Border lines, and the Guide lines. Sending the object(s) to the back allows you to see and select the other objects that were behind it. |
Send Objects to the Back | |

Select the desired object(s). Click Edit > Send to Back. | |
The object will be sent to the back. This may be faster than hitting PgUp/PgDown to cycle through the openings in order to select an object hidden by another opening. |
Move Objects to the Back | |

It is also useful to be able to move the object(s) in relation to the objects currently behind it. Select the desired object(s). Click Edit > Send to Back. | |
The object will be sent to the back. The object is still selected, allowing you to use the arrow keys to nudge it into the desired position in relation to the other objects that are now in front of it. | |
The object is moved to the desired position. |
