The Join button will connect the Selected Segments together as one object in Trace. 

The Auto Join Segments button will automatically join All Adjacent Segments together in Trace.

Breaking an Object in a Specific Spot

Info

  • Sometimes Exploding a circuit isn’t sufficient if you need to break an object at a specific spot.

  • Draw the First Line where you would like to break the object, intersecting it with the Object.

  • Draw a Second Line where you want to break the object, intersecting it with the Object.

  • Select the Object and the two lines and click the Break button to break them at the intersections.

  • Delete the unneeded segments and edit as desired.
