These instructions show how to Load a File Image into the Visualization software.

Panel

For Additional Information:
Click the Take Picture button on the Main Screen to take a photo to open Visualize.
Click the Load File Image button on the Main Screen to load an image to open Visualize.

The Image file is opened into the Editor.

If the image file loaded is a different Size than the last file loaded, it will ask you to set the Scale using Pixels Per Unit (the current Unit of Measurement) for the Image. If you are using Inches, it will be Pixels per Inch.

Optionally, click the Set as Default checkbox to set this size as the default size.

Pixels Per Inch (PPI) describes Image Resolution which refers to the Number of Pixels contained within Each Inch of a Digital Image.

A Higher Resolution/PPI Image contains More Pixels and is a Higher Quality of Image.

A Lower Resolution/PPI Image contains Less Pixels and is a Lower Quality of Image.

Number of pixels ÷ size of the image in inches = Pixels Per Inch.

Substitute 1 cm for 1 Inch to find Pixels Per Centimeter or PPcm².
