Take Picture

  • Click the Take Picture button to open the Camera Capture screen where you can take a picture from a Camera or twain device attached to your computer.

Options

  • Click Options on the Camera Capture screen to view the Options for the camera selected. 

Rotate Image 180 Degrees

  • Select Options > Rotate Image 180 Degrees to rotate the image 180 Degrees.

  • Click Take Picture on the Camera Capture Screen to take the picture with this setting and it will rotate the image 180 Degrees before placing it on the Editor.

The Rotation function in Visualizationis the action of rotating the selected object(s) around an axis or center.

This is helpful when the photo is not level.

Image Resolutions

  • Select Options > Image Resolutions > Select Desired Resolution to set the Resolution Size for the image you are taking.

    • The largest size is listed at the top.

  • Click Take Picture on the Camera Capture Screen to take the picture with this setting.

Using a Color Profile With the Camera

  • Select the Use Color Profile checkbox.

  • Select the desired Color Profile from the Color Profile dropdown control.

Manually Setting the Color Adjustments Manually

  • Instead of using a Color Profile, you also have the option of adjusting the Camera Settings Manually.

  • To adjust the Camera Settings Manually, have Use Color Profile unchecked. 

  • Move the sliders for the individual settings before taking the photo. Any unavailable webcam settings for your particular camera are grayed out.
