Visualize Walk-Through

  • This section will walk you through taking an image with the camera and using the Visualize software to display the finished piece.

Take Picture

Samples Preview When Applying Regions

    • User can move and adjust the selection until the repeating pattern is as desired.

Rotate Selection

  • Since samples are rarely perfectly laid out, you can rotate the selection to match the

Select the Art Region

Select the art region Art Region from the photo taken/loaded.

  • Click on the Art Regions tab.

  • Click the Add New Art Region button.  

  • In the editorEditor, draw a box around the art Art to select it.   

  • The size of the area selected will be displayed in the width Width and height Height fields of the Selected Region field, which can be edited.

  • Optionally, click the Add Full Size Art Region button to select the entire image displayed on the current tab.

A Thumbnail is a visual sample of the selected Frame/Mat SKU or manually created Thumbnail. If the selected SKU does not contain a Thumbnail, one can be created in Visualization.

Set Frame Texture

Select the Frame Texture if the selected SKU does not have a frame texture saved to it.

  • Click the down arrow next to the desired frame Frame layer and select Set Texture to set the frame texture Frame Texture.

    • Optionally, select Set Texture with Auto Snap if the selection is high contrast enough to allow the software to automatically snap to the top and bottom of the texture Texture.

  • Draw a box around the frame Frame or fill Fill sample desired, using the smallest repeatable section of the frame Frame image. 

  • Rotate the selection as needed to match the frame Frame sample. 

    • Click and move any of the control points to edit the selection. 

    • The repeating pattern is shown at the bottom left of the screen to assist with selection and rotation Rotation.

  • The current thumbnail Thumbnail selection is displayed in the Samples Preview window. 

  • The selected Frame texture Texture displays in the Preview Tab on the Corner Sample.

Set Mat Color with the Complimentary Color Palette

Set the Mat Color using the Complimentary Color Palette based on the complimentary colors of the selected artwork image Art Region.

  • Click on the desired color sample Color Sample in the Complimentary Colors section.

  • Select the desired mat layer for the color Color, mat Mat SKU or select to add it as a new mat layer.

Complimentary Colors Not Displayed

  • If the Complimentary Colors section is not displayed, return to the Art Regions tab and click on the desired Art Region

  • The complimentary colors palette Complimentary Colors Palette will be created using the colors within the selected Art Region.

Visualize Project Preview Screen

  • Visualize the finished project and make any last adjustments.

  • Click on the Preview Tab to visualize Visualize the finished project with the selected frame Frame and matboard Matboard.

  • Make any additional adjustments, saveSave the project, or cutCut the project.

NOTE: If you need to edit the placement of openings, click on the Design icon (magic wand icon) in the upper right corner of the screen to go to the Designer portion of the software. 

Snapshot Viewer

Click Take Snapshot to save a snapshot Snapshot of the current project. The snapshot Snapshot section allows the user to save several different snapshot Snapshot variations of the project which can then be displayed on the screen for comparison.

  • Click Take Snapshot to save a snapshot Snapshot of the current project. 

  • A snapshot Snapshot of the current project is taken, which includes the frames Frames, mats Mats, fillets Fillets, etc.

  • The user can now return to the Mats and Frames tab and make new selections for this artwork.

  • Repeat as necessary, then compare the Snapshots (instructions below).

Compare Selected Design Snapshots

  • After creating several design snapshots displaying different

  • Frames of the current project, you can compare several of them on the screen so that the customer can select the one they like.

  • Select the Snapshots by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking on each desired Snapshot. Optionally, click the Select All button.

  • Click the Compare Selected button.

  • When you have decided on which Snapshot you like the best, close the Snapshot Preview screen.

  • Select the desired Snapshot from the snapshots Snapshots section and click Set Current button to load it as the current project.
