Optimize

  • Optimize merges together as many of the circuit segments as possible to reduce complexity and improve cutting.

  • It may not be obvious on the screen, but it cuts down on the number of Bezier Curve segments, and makes the cutting smoother.

  • It is recommended to leave Optimize checked.

Curve Tool Definition

  • Click the Optimize checkbox to increase the optimization tolerance on the image, Allowing More Detail to be captured into the design.

  • Uncheck the Optimize checkbox to decrease the optimization tolerance on the image, Decomposing the Detail captured in the design.

    • Depending upon the complexity of the design, it may have difficulties cutting.
