Select a different template instead of the Deboss object.

To change the SHAPE of the Deboss, see Template Number and Name below.

Template Number and Name

The Template Number and Name button displays the template number and name of the selected Deboss shape.

Click the Template Number and Name button.

The Template Library will open.

Select a different template SHAPE for the Deboss. Templates not available for this function are not displayed.

To change the Deboss to another template, see Change to Template above.

VG Width

VG Width on the Deboss parameters determines if the Deboss is a double-lined or single lined Deboss.

A single line Deboss has a VG Width of 0 (zero) and Debosses from the front of the mat.

Double Deboss Line

Anything larger than zero for the VG Width is a double-lined Deboss.

This will Deboss from the front of the mat.

Distance

The Distance is the space between the Deboss and the object the Deboss is attached to in the Attach To field.

If the Deboss is not attached to anything, the Distance field is grayed out.

NOTE: Offsetting the Deboss from an object when initially placing the Deboss does not automatically attach the Deboss to that objects.

Changing the Distance number will offset the Deboss the new distance from the object it is attached to.

If the object is resized, the Deboss is resized proportionately and remains the Distance entered from the object it is attached to.

Attach To

Click Attach To and select from the dropdown control the desired object to attach the selected Deboss.

If you resize the item that the Deboss is attached to (opening or outside), the Deboss is resized proportionately and remains the Distance entered from the object it is attached to..

NOTE: Offsetting the Deboss from an object when initially placing the Deboss does not automatically attach the Deboss to that object.

Use the Cartridge and Type section to select the desired Cartridge and Cartridge Type for the Deboss.

Click on the Cartridge Icon and select the desired cartridge for the current Deboss.

Changing it to a non-Deboss Cartridge will change the Deboss to that Cartridge type; i.e., changing it from a Thin Deboss Cartridge to a 52 Degree Cartridge will make it a 52 Degree V-Groove opening.

Cartridge Type

When applicable, select the desired cartridge type from the Type dropdown control.

Selections available are dependent upon the type of Cartridge tool selected.
