How to Change the Blade Cartridge Type for an Opening

  • These instructions will show you how to change the Blade Cartridge Type for an opening.

  • Click New Mat Design on the FrameShop Main Page.

  • Click Cancel on the New Openings Screen.

  • On the Openings Tab, bring the template #101: Rectangle template onto the Editor.

  • Click on the Properties Tab to edit it.

  • Enter the desired size for the #101: Rectangle opening.

  • On the Template Options Reveal Tab, locate the Cartridge and Type section.

  • Click on the Cartridge Icon. 

  • Select the desired Blade Cartridge Type for the current layer of the selected template.

  • NOTE: The 45°+ Cartridge and the 45° Front Cartridge are not selectable from this screen.

    • The 45°+ Cartridge is selected on the Cut Preview Screen by selecting a Blade Depth above 16.

    • The 45° Front Cartridge is selected on the Cut Preview Screen by selecting Options > Cut From Front Tool > Switch Between Front and Normal Tools and selecting to Cut From the Front of the mat.

  • In this example, the Top Layer will now cut with the 90° Cartridge.
