Retractable Wall Mount (RWM) Operations Manual: CMC 8500, 9000 and Z Series

Minimum Recommended Work Space Requirements

• Full Size CMC – 74” Width X 55” Height with 6” Clearance on the left and right sides in order to access the Head and Gantry when installing/replacing.

• Space Saver^TM CMC – 59” Width x 55” Height with 6” clearance on the left and right sides in order to access the Head and Gantry when installing/replacing.

IMPORTANT: All NEW machinery built after 9/2019 is drilled for this application.

• The new Retractable wall mount cannot be used on models built before 9/2019.

NOTE: A minimum of 12” is required above the Wall Mounting Rail Assembly to install the Retractable Wall Mount to the wall.

NOTE: If mounting over a table a minimum of 6” is required between top of table and bottom of Wall Mount Rails.

NOTE: This kit is not intended for direct mounting to masonry. Appropriate modifications should be made by a qualified contractor. Additional hardware will need to be supplied by the contractor.

• Please read and follow all advisements, instructions and warnings in the operation’s manual prior to installing and operating the RWM (Retractable Wall Mount).

• The RWM should only be operated by a person who is capable of identifying and acknowledging existing and predictable hazards during operation.

• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) should be worn during the installation of the RWM.

• Before operating, the RWM must be mounted with adequate workspace and lighting on a level and stable surface.

• Keep extremities clear of moving parts during operation.

• Proceed to the operations manual or contact the manufacturer for any questions concerning installation and operation of the RWM prior to use.

• Do not wear jewelry or loose hair or loose clothing when operating the RWM.

• NOTE: Proper installation procedure by qualified personnel as outlined in the installation instructions must be adhered to. Failure to do so could result in personal injury and possible damage to the CMC.
