Problem/Purpose:

The suggested Blade Depth setting for 1.5 mm (4-ply) mat is 10.

If the Blade Depth Dial suddenly cannot turn down to 0 (zero) or lower, then the Blade Depth Dial will need to be re-Calibrated.

Calibrate the Blade Depth Dial

Calibrate the Blade Depth Dial

  • Create a one layer 3x3 square opening and go to the Cut Preview Screen.

  • Turn the Blade Depth Adjustment Knob to “1”.

Turn the Blade Depth Adjustment Knob to “1”
  • Cut the mat.

  • If you see a faint score on all corners (about 30-70% scoring) of the 3x3 square, your calibration is complete.

  • If scoring on the mat is not present; turn the Dial in increments of one and repeat score test until scoring is present.

  • If the score is too deep reverse the process.

Do a Test Cut Until You Get About 30-70% Scoring
