Align the Head: All Current CMC Models
This topic covers Aligning the Head which positions the Head and Gantry in the correct starting location to ensure accurate cuts.
Aligning the Head:
Click the Align the Head button on the Cut Preview.
This begins the Align the Head process to move the Head and Gantry into the correct cutting position and power up the Motors in preparation of cutting a mat.
Aligning the Head prepares the machine to cut, but does not start the Cut process; you must click the Cut button after Aligning the Head.
Optionally, if you click the Cut button when the motors are disengaged, it will prompt you to Align the Head, after which the machine will proceed with cutting the mat.
