The Group Selection feature will Lock the Current Selection of Objects together, and merge any overlapping objects to form a new object.
The Group Selection button will combine and merge a Group of Objects to form a single entity.

Select the desired objects and click on the Group Selection button in the Advanced tab.
Select the desired objects and click on the Group Openings button in the Tools section.
Select the desired objects and Right-Click select Group Selection.
