How to Mirror the #503: Leaf in Trace

  • This will show you how to mirror the #503: Leaf by turning it into a CutArt in Trace.

  • Create your design using the current #503: Leaf.

  • Right-Click on the #503: Leaf and select Convert to CutArt

  • The design will open up in Trace.

  • We are not making any edits to the design; just saving it under a different file format.

  • Click File > Save As.

  • Make sure that the CutArt directory is selected.

  • Make sure that the CutArt filetype is selected.

  • Give it a filename and click Save.

  • Close Trace.

  • Start a new Designer design.

  • On the Openings Tab click Add CutArt.

  • In the Wizard/CutArt directory, locate your CutArt and click Design.

  • With the CutArt selected, click on the Properties Tab.

  • Click Mirror the CutArt.

  • The CutArt is now mirrored.

  • The mirrored #503: Leaf is now complete.

  • With the same CutArt opening, you could cut it mirrored or unmirrored.
