How to Create an Open V-Groove Around Two Openings

  • Click New Mat Design on the FrameShop Main Page.

  • Click Cancel on the New Openings Screen.

  • Click on the Properties Tab and enter the outside dimensions.

  • Click on the Openings Tab and bring over two openings.

  • Select both openings by drawing a box around them with the mouse.

    • Or hit CTRL+A on the keyboard.

  • Click the Add V-Groove button.

  • The V-Groove Offset screen will pop up.

  • Enter the distance away from the openings to place the V-Groove and click OK.

  • The V-Groove is placed.

  • Click on the Properties Tab.

  • Change the VG Width to the desired width of the Open V-Groove.

    • A VG Width of Zero (0) is a Closed V-Groove.

    • A VG Width of anything above Zero (0) is an Open V-Groove.

  • The Open V-Groove is finished.
