52° Normal Bevel Drop Definition

  • The 52° Normal Bevel Drop is created by cutting into the fallout surface with the blade angled at 52°, thereby slanting the bevel away from the fallout surface.

  • The matboard core is visible from the front.

  • The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.

  • The Bevel Type determines the initial blade plunge position.

  • The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove.

    However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within Designer.

 How to Adjust the Configurations

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
