Overcut on Creases

  • If the Overcut is Too Long, Decrease the Overcut.

  • If the Overcut is Too Short, Increase the Overcut.

 How to Select the Bevel Type to Edit

Select desired Cartridge Tab

Select the desired Bevel Type from Current Bevel Type.

Edit the desired Configuration field.

 How to Adjust the Overcut

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

Crease Overcut Too Long

  • If the Overcut is Too Long, Decrease the Overcut.

 Overcut of Creases Definition

The Overcut controls where the Blade Retracts from the Matboard (not the Fallout) on the Exterior cuts of Openings. The initial plunge position is determined by the bevel type.

  • The Exterior Cut is where the Blade Plunges or Retracts from the Matboard (not the Fallout).  

  • If the Overcut is cut Too Long, Decrease the Overcut.

  • If the Overcut is cut Too Short, Increase the Overcut.

  • The Overcut field is marked with a Red Arrow on the Configuration screen and the Map illustration.
