V-Groove Flare Definition

  • A Flare in the inside or outside cut of the V-Groove is where the corners Curve Away from the opening.

 V-Groove Flare General Definition

A Flare in a V-Groove is where the corners Curve Away from either the Outside or Inside Cut of the V-Groove.

If the Outside cut of the V-Groove has a Flare, Increase the Outside Rotation.

If the Inside cut of the V-Groove has a Flare, Decrease the Inside Rotation.

 Outside V-Groove Flare Definition

A Flare in the outside cut of the V-Groove is where the corners Curve Away from the opening on the Outside cut of the V-Groove.

If the Outside cut of the V-Groove has a Flare, Increase the Outside Rotation.

 How to Adjust the Configurations

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
